School Story:
While active duty in the US Navy, attending night college classes in general education. Following my active duty service, continued attending college classes to achieve my Associate degrees in Aviation Maintenance, Avionics Systems Technologies and third in Pre-Engineering (1990-1995). Transferred to Metropolitan State College of Denver (CO) and completed bachelor degree in both Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technologies (2000). Recently completed my Masters degree through Colorado State University in Education with primary emphasis in Organizational Performance and Change (2010). Ok...so I was on the 20 year college degree program. Besides traditional college, I also spent two and half full years attending night school every night (Mon-Fri) and received my Aircraft Airframes and Powerplants license with the FAA. Sometimes I can't remember NOT going to school for one thing or another. I guess I could thank this all on the VOTECH classes I took back at Mead Sr High, such as Auto and Metal Shop. Just a shame such class offerings seem to disappear more and more each year from our public schools. I certainly enjoyed them and appreciated the opportunities they provided me.
