I was so taken by surprise, and sad, to recently hear of Mike's death.  I have many fond memories of "Mikey".  He was always a lot of fun.  I remember him driving around that little Fiat X-19 car of his and going to concerts at the collisium with groups of friends.  He was a funny guy, he made me smile.  Another thing about Mike was, he slept with his eyes open!  Does anybody else remember that? Good bye Mike!

Yeah, I ddn't hear about his death until way after the fact.  Pretty sad how we grow apart in this crazy busy world.  Every time I drive thru the intersection of Division and Francis he still makes me laugh.  Mike used to work at that bedding store on the southwest corner.  I picked him up from work one time and his boss said he was upstairs cleaning.  I went up the stairs to hear a vacuum running.........but found Mike sleeping like a baby in one of the beds.

On a side note.......if anyone out there knows how to get in contact with his ex wife, Eve, I would appreciate any info.  Somehow (after 30 years??) I have his yearbook....so I am guessing he has mine!

He was a great friend and a super funny guy.  He will be missed.

John
