Born on January 19th, 1963 and departed on March 27th, 2010. Dave was the son of James Baugh
(deceased) and Elly Framstad. He grew up in Spokane and graduated from Mead High School in 1981. Dave attended the
University of Washington
where he was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity and the coxswain for the nationally ranked Huskies. He graduated with a BA in history in 1985 and went on to complete his Law Degree at the University of Oregon in 1988. He received his LLM in Law and Marine Affairs at the University of Washington in 1989. Dave was a sole practitioner in Seattle since 1990 and volunteered countless hours as an attorney for the King County Bar Association. Dave's passion was rowing and he coached the junior rower's at Green Lake Crew for 10 years. To thank him for his years of service and dedication, the Parks Department christened the "Dave Baugh", an eight person skull, named in Dave's honor. He was a member of the Rowing Advisory Council - Seattle Parks and Recreation and a Junior Women's Committee member for the United State Rowing Association. Dave leaves behind his friend and partner, Travis Adams, mother Elly Framstad (Stanley), his brothers, Mike Baugh (Christine), Bob Baugh (Sue), Bill Baugh and his sisters Sue Martin (Cub), and Patty Ellingsen (Ron). He has numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Dave will be missed so very much by all of those who knew and loved him. He was an exceptional man whose contributions and selfless giving to others will never be forgotten. A memorial service will be held to honor Dave's life on Sunday, May 2nd at 1:00 at the Pocock Rowing Center (3320 Fuhrman Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98102-3832).
